Terri DeBoer has un-retired from television news; joining the team at FOX-17 in Grand Rapids as a meteorologist on the morning news team.
After “retiring” from a nearly 30-year career at WOOD-TV, Terri missed the energy and challenge of forecasting and broadcasting West Michigan’s constantly-changing weather.
Through tracking the most intense storms across West Michigan over the past three decades, the “winds of change” are blowing in the life of Terri DeBoer as she is taking her experience and love of West Michigan in a new direction in this season of her life.

My incredible family!
Along the way, I've been blessed to raise 3 wonderful children; 2 of whom are married to their high school sweethearts. My youngest was married in 2023 (bringing the total number of "kids" in my family to 6) And...the family has grown by a generation, as I am blessed to have three incredible grandsons and two amazing granddaughters! They are all hard-working followers of our incredible God; combining their talents with their ever-deepening faith. They are all fun-loving and kind individuals; who are making strides through making the world a better place.
I've also been blessed to be married to my husband, Bill, for more than 30-years! It's almost hard to believe that we have spent more than half of our lives together!
